FACIAL RETEXURIZING TREATMENTS

These state-of-the-art treatments were designed to assist in correcting the harsh effects of environmentally damaged skin.  They produce dramatic results, especially when performed in a series, by promoting the rapid release of dry, dead skin cells that obscure the skin’s natural clarity, tone, color and texture.

 Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective non-surgical and non-invasive process that rejuvenates and exfoliates the skin, often called “the lunchtime peel”.  Microdermabrasion removes the surface layer, and stimulates the production of new skin cells and collagen, giving a smooth and healthy glow to the skins surface.  Microdermabrasion causes very little discomfort, and treatments offer  a very quick recovery.  Since only the outer-most layer of the skin is removed, side effects are minimal. 

 Another popular method of skin-resurfacing is done using chemical substances.  At Results Day Spa we use alpha-and beta- hydroxy acid in the form of glycolic acid peels, lactic acid peels and salicylic acid peels.  Your technician will apply a concentrate of these substances, which work by breaking down the material that holds skin cells together, thereby encouraging older skin cells to shed.  This method is also quick and relatively painless.  You may experience some tingling followed by enhanced coloration of the skin that  lasts only a few hours.
